Race of the Year 2008 and 2016. The race is on the north branch of the canal that surrounds the well-known Holland Marsh. It is well suited to new and experienced paddlers and is the selection race for paddlers representing Canada at the ICF Marathon World Championships, held this year in Baerum Norway, Aug. 27 - 30.
